Our Commitment

NorthStarPaddle is committed to maintaining a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for all community members. These guidelines outline the behavior we expect from all users and the standards we uphold across our platform.

By using NorthStarPaddle, you agree to follow these guidelines and help us create a positive community where everyone can enjoy their gaming experience.

1. Respect and Courtesy

  • Be Kind: Treat all community members with kindness, empathy, and respect regardless of skill level, experience, or background.
  • No Harassment: Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Respect Differences: We welcome diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Discriminatory behavior based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age is strictly prohibited.
  • Constructive Communication: Disagreements happen, but express them respectfully and constructively. Personal attacks are never acceptable.

2. Appropriate Content

  • Clean Language: Avoid profanity, vulgar language, and offensive expressions in all communications.
  • No Inappropriate Content: Do not share, post, or link to sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Age-Appropriate: Remember that all users are adults 18+, but maintain professional and respectful discourse.
  • No Spam: Avoid repetitive messages, excessive self-promotion, or irrelevant content that disrupts the community.

3. Fair Play

  • No Cheating: Do not use exploits, hacks, bots, or any unauthorized tools that provide unfair advantages.
  • Honest Gameplay: Play games as intended without attempting to manipulate outcomes or game mechanics.
  • Report Issues: If you discover a bug or exploit, report it to our team rather than using it for personal gain.
  • Respect the Spirit: Games are meant to be fun and fair for everyone. Play in the spirit of good sportsmanship.

4. Privacy and Safety

  • Protect Personal Information: Do not share your own or others' personal information including addresses, phone numbers, or financial details.
  • No Solicitation: Do not solicit money, personal information, or attempt to conduct business transactions with other users.
  • Account Security: Keep your account information secure and do not share access with others.
  • Report Concerns: If you feel unsafe or witness concerning behavior, report it immediately to our moderation team.

5. Helpful Community Participation

  • Support New Players: Welcome and assist newcomers. We were all beginners once.
  • Share Knowledge: Share tips, strategies, and helpful information to enhance everyone's experience.
  • Constructive Feedback: When providing feedback about the platform or games, be specific and constructive.
  • Positive Environment: Contribute to a positive atmosphere through encouragement, celebration of achievements, and supportive interactions.

6. Responsible Gaming

  • Know the Limits: While our games use virtual currency with no real value, maintain healthy gaming habits.
  • Take Breaks: Step away regularly and maintain balance in your entertainment activities.
  • Seek Help: If gaming feels problematic, utilize resources on our Responsible Gaming page.
  • Support Others: If you notice concerning behavior in other players, encourage them to seek appropriate support.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the platform:

  • Impersonating other users, staff members, or public figures
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or gain unfair advantages
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform or its services
  • Engaging in illegal activities or promoting illegal content
  • Selling, trading, or attempting to monetize virtual currency or accounts
  • Using automated systems or bots to interact with the platform
  • Deliberately spreading false information or engaging in deceptive practices

Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in the following actions, depending on severity and frequency:

  • Warning: First-time or minor infractions typically receive a formal warning.
  • Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations or moderate infractions may result in temporary account suspension.
  • Permanent Ban: Severe violations, repeated offenses after warnings, or illegal activities may result in permanent removal from the platform.

Our moderation team reviews each case individually and fairly. If you believe you were unfairly sanctioned, you may appeal by contacting support@northstarpaddle.com with details.

Reporting Violations

If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to our moderation team:

  • Email: support@northstarpaddle.com
  • Include specific details: what happened, when it occurred, and who was involved
  • Provide screenshots or evidence if available
  • All reports are reviewed promptly and treated confidentially

False reports made maliciously may themselves be considered violations of our guidelines.

Updates to Guidelines

We may update these guidelines periodically to address new situations or improve clarity. Significant changes will be announced to the community. Continued use of NorthStarPaddle after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
